This game is great so I thought I would reveiw it.
I would give Patapon for the PSP an 8/10. If you have a PSP then you should have patapon.
The game play is really fun 9/10.
you push circle square X and Triangle to the beat. Different combinations do different things, like march, attack, and defend. Once you get so far you can perform "miracles" like making it rain, or causing the wind to blow. There are one hundred different pieces of equipment you can get, helmets, shields, swords, spears, and axes are just a few of them.
The Graphics get an 8/10.
I really like the style of graphics, there are little visual effects that make this game look really good. The wind in the back ground to the little flames from flaming arrows.
The sound is wonderful 10/10.
Hearing your little army sing to the beat of your drums, theres just something about that, that makes you smile.
The games challenge I would give 7/10.
If you can keep the beat you will get by really easy, but lose the beat in the middle of a battle and your in for a beating.
The replay value ok 7/10.
Once your through the game you can still go back and fight all the bosses, they level up every time you beat them, and you can still build up your army. I will be playing for awhile still its a fun little rhythm game that anyone can enjoy.
Again over all Patapon gets an 8/10.
If you like rhythm games get this, if you can't stand rhythm, you might want to skip this one.
Here are some screen shots:
This is a boss battle.
Hunting for some equipment and materials.
Attacking an enemy base.
This is where you outfit your little eyeball army.
